MDHHS is hosting two virtual baby fairs for new or expecting parents in July.

Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

The MDHHS Virtual Baby Fair is a department-wide partnership to share important resources and information that promote health and safety to new and expecting parents. The department hosts two live events, usually in the summer and winter. Participants can also view the baby fair on-demand, which is available year-round. The live events allow participants the unique opportunity to ask questions directly to program experts, while the on-demand event allows participants to view the information being presented at their own pace.

Honestly, it's kind of a lot of news! And all of it is good!

First, I am so glad to announce that I am credentialed with Aetna and able to see clients with this Medicaid plan!

Second, in July, I am taking a training for utilizing a TENS unit during labor!

And third, in August, I am taking a training that will better prepare me to support clients who are navigating the NICU experience!

I know there were a LOT of exclamation points in this post, but I am so super excited that I can't help myself! 😁
