Dear Patients:
Due to the recent developments regarding the COVID β 19 virus, we want to let you know what Coopersville Vision Center is doing in response to this public health emergency. We have advised our team to stay at home if they are ill and are taking all recommended precautions as outlined by the CDC and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. We are taking our normal sterilization steps, as we do every day in our patient areas, but have added additional safety and cleaning measures during this time.
Please feel free to use phones, texting and email for any questions or concerns regarding appointments, billing, ordering or non-urgent eye concerns.
In compliance with the Governor's mandate, we are asking that you do not bring any extra people with you to your appointment, unless you are a parent/guardian of a minor. If you are elderly or immune compromised, we recommend you kindly reschedule your appointment by phone or text.
To help prevent the spread of the virus, we are asking the following:
*Stay home if you are sick, and advise others to do the same
*Always cover coughs or sneezes with a tissue or sleeve
*Avoid close contact with people who are sick
*Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed
hands.
*Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least
20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at
least 70% alcohol if soap and warm water are not available.
*Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Please be assured that we continue to monitor the situation very closely and are taking proactive steps within our office to ensure the safety of our team and patients. As always, please contact us if we can help in any way, or if you have questions.
Sincerely,
Dr. Aimee Bronson and the staff at CVC
