Some moments leave a mark on your heart, some get wrapped up with a big red hat and coat. This was both.

With sincere honor and gratitude, D'Andrea Bros would like to thank Santa Claus, Christina Mitchell and Donna Deodato from the Amityville Public Library, Stefanie Gangone from the Copiague Library, and a few of our devoted elfves who made our Sensitive Santa event a day of magic for our community.

The day and night was unhurried, giving families the oportunity to come exactly as they were and meet with presence, patience, joy and Santa. We are certain the memories that were created and the photos that were taken will live on in all of our hearts and photo albums beyond time.

While our work centers on honoring life at the end, days like this remind us how sacred the moments of living truly are.

To the families and children, thank you for trusting us to make holiday memories with your loved ones. To our volunteers, thank you for standing beside us with dignity, heart and warmth to create this type of holiday magic.

With our Sensitive Santa Event just around the corner on this Thanksgiving Eve, we wanted to take a moment to share our thanks and gratitude to the Copiague Library and the Amityville Public Library~
We couldn't ask for better bookends.

Just like every great story, when kindness was needed, without hesitation, they both stepped up and said, "How can we help"
Our grattitude sits in-between every word in this special story. We look forward to having you here and helping us make memories with these very special children and adults. You are truly the spirit of this community. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

This year, we are opening our doors to create a gentle, quiet holiday moment made especially for our sensory-sensitive and special-needs children. A quiet space where they can meet Santa at their own pace and feel safe.

We are honored to support the beautiful mission of A League of YES who brings inclusive sports like baseball and basketball to athletes of all abilities on Long Island. We are also honored to be an unwrapped gift drop off for KiDS NEED MoRE dedicated to lifting the hearts of children, teens and families facing illness, grief, military life, and all the tough chapters life can bring. So if you feel called to sprinkle a little extra sparkle and holiday magic--Stop by 99 Oak Street from now til December 10th.
