Below you will find more details on what we know regarding the current challenges present within the industry,

What we know:
Port volumes and congestion remain present as large container ships continue to surge on the trans-Pacific trade lane
Labor shortages are impacting our transportation partners both nationally and regionally
Inventory shortages, shipping delays, and rising costs are anticipated with increased demand which are impacting others in the industry
A global shortage of raw materials has impacted the production of vehicles and trailers, increasing the price of equipment and products, and limiting how much freight providers can transport
E-commerce volumes related to COVID-19 have continued to increase and inundate the parcel networks
We are committed to being responsive as we work through these challenges together.

Northeast Medical Sales takes its responsibility to support the needs of our customers very seriously, as demonstrated through our history of service.

Our national and regional parcel providers have been experiencing service delays and we anticipate this to continue in the coming months. This is due to various factors, such as the continuing challenges of the pandemic, and industry-wide transportation and supply chain labor shortages.

Please know that we are working diligently to address these delays to get back to meeting your expectations.
What we know:
The transportation industry is experiencing labor shortages impacting our national and regional parcel providers.
A global shortage of materials has impacted the production of all products, increasing the price.

Recent natural disasters, including hurricanes in the south, flooding in the northeast, and wildfires in the west continue to impact delivery routes and times.

You have our commitment to do all we can to help our global healthcare supply chain continue to operate as safely and effectively as possible. We will continue to closely monitor these delays and will provide additional information as it becomes available.

Due to COVID-19 and the recent restrictions placed by Gov Wolf, Northeast Medical Sales will be closing the retail store front temporarily. Phone lines will remain open and arrangements will be made for those needing deliveries.
