This year we’re focusing on our health and leaning into our bees to help us. Did you know bees produce more than just honey? And we can use those other products too!

Bees produce propolis to protect their hive. It’s not only the glue they use to seal up and cracks to keep their hive less drafty in winter, it’s their immune defense as well!

Made from tree resins with antibacterial, anti viral and anti fungal properties, propolis is an awesome way to build your immunity and fight infection.

Follow along with us as we expand our apothecary branch into apitherapy!

The things you find flower farming with littles. Life is always go go go. I found a handful of dried strawflower in the stroller this weekend when I was planting the ranunculus and I couldn’t help myself from taking a few pictures of them in the snow.

If you’ve ever met Mike and I, you know we like to tease each other. I will forever be disappointed that two years ago because of our sting saver I missed out on a prime opportunity to tease him. Mike was trying to do something in a hive super quick before we left without any gear on and was stung on the lip.

We were on our way out to a friend’s house and you can only imagine the witty remarks I had on standby. I expected to enjoy maybe even a little bit of a funny lisp with that swollen lip. Except it didn’t swell, you could barely even see where he was stung.

So now, our laughs begin and end at the crazy run/swat/ dance through the yard when you find yourself head to head with an angry bee. Keep an eye out, because we both tease that one day we will get the other on camera and post it — it’s only a matter of time until someone’s successful. Between the amount of times they’re mad at me for cutting flowers too close to the hive and him actually doing the bulk of the beekeeping it could end up being either of us as your prime entertainment.

Want to take bets on who it ends up being?

Our sting savers are safe for use on kids, we’ve even ditched our Benadryl itch stick and use the more natural option for mosquito bites now too. Sting saver essential oil rollers are available on our website (link in bio) for $16 and can be picked up at the stand in Copley

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a bouquet subscription? I’d described it as a little bit of a mix between the surprise of Christmas morning and the peace and relaxation from a day at the spa. If you or someone you love adores surprises, home decor or could use a little bit of self care, our subscriptions are perfect for you.

Because it’s more than flowers, it’s something to look forward to and the mood you set in your home to share with all who enter each week.

Pick up yours up this season at on Tuesdays or on Fridays.

You can purchase your seasonal subscription on our website linked in our bio or head there yourself at www.Summitsnaturalblessings.com

Hi All! —

I could really use your input before we get into the season this year! We loved seeing people consistently at the stand last fall picking their favorite flowers, it really helped me learn what color combinations you like best. Should we switch our Copley pick up location to the stand this year or stick with Brighten?

Also, if you can like follow and share our page it would help us get into the local algorithms and get the best feedback from our amazing community!

We appreciate you and look forward to MUCH warmer days at the stand.

The last few years we’ve battled voles on our property eating our beautiful ranunculus and anemone. It’s always happened in January during whatever week we get those deep freeze temps. You know, what it’s been seemingly doing all January this year. Thankfully, I decided to start them indoors this year and plant them out late January. It’s looking like they won’t go out until February now, but I’m so thankful we should have these beauties in spring subscriptions this year. And if we’re lucky maybe we will even finally time Mother’s Day right! 🤞

2025 was a blessing, we sold out of honey before the spring honey pull, dabbled in a small wedding and had the most sales to date since we began in 2023. It was also probably the most challenging. Crop loss, unconventional weather, and a newborn was stressful to say the least.

This year we’re learning from our first three years and making some tweaks to better balance the business and spending precious time with our boys.

Summer and Fall Subscriptions are live! We’re considering making some pick up location changes this year and for now we are only releasing our subscriptions for our Ocelot pickup location. Please note we are making all three of our subscription seasons 4 weeks long this year. You can expect Summer to be in August and Fall to be in September.

Head on over to our website and purchase yours today!

Another change in 2026 — we decided that we will release our spring subscriptions in March when we have a better idea when our spring start date will be with the unpredictable Ohio weather we endure each year. Excited and afraid you’ll forget to check back and miss it? You can still reserve a spring member spot today by emailing us at deidre@summitsnaturalblessings.com and we will email you with the link to pay as soon as it’s live!

This was the last bunch of dahlias before the great dahlia dig of 2025 commenced. I keep admiring these as I slowly earn my next trip to the chiropractor. But it’s all worth it! They’re gorgeous! About half of the 225 plants are dug, getting there!

Our spring tuber sale is officially on the calendar too! Mark your calendar for our annual in person sale, this year at the Summit County Home show at the fairgrounds in Tallmadge Ohio. Come visit me April 17th-19th 2026 and grab some of these beauties for your own garden.

The end has come with last night’s frost. It’s been a wonderful season. We cut what we could last night before the frost and I’ve decided to finish the year with wholesale priced dahlia bunches!

Dahlias are high end, wedding worthy flowers that you won’t find at the grocery store.

I have them bunched in mini bouquets of 5 stems for $10. Come and grab one or a few to make the size bouquet that fits your fancy or your budget.

These bunches are no frills — rubber banded and unwrapped, but at $2 a stem instead of $4-6 you won’t be disappointed.

And don’t forget to soak up the sun before winter comes!
