Today was our January Wellness Wednesday 🌿 We did chair yoga with EmpowerMe Wellness enjoyed fresh smoothies and parfaits, and made a group vision board for what we want more of in 2026! Thanks BAYADA Home Health Care and Suncrest Hospice for the sweet giveaways!

It’s Day 42 of 42 Days of Holiday Cheer ✨
Today we learned about Orthodox Christmas and its traditions, taking time to explore other cultures and faith — something we always value in our community.

We also painted boat charms for our apartments, inspired by the Greek tradition “karavaki” where children decorate small boats for the season. These took the place of Christmas trees up until the late 1800s! The boats represent safe journeys, hope, and new beginnings!

Residents woke to find small treats in the treasure boxes we prepared yesterday — a lovely surprise inspired by the gifts of the Three Kings and the spirit of generosity.

It’s Day 40 of 42 Days of Holiday Cheer ✨

Today marked the final day of our 12 Days of Christmas Culinary Challenge! Inspired by twelve drummers drumming, residents enjoyed a beet salad and breadsticks, a thoughtful and creative way to conclude the series!

We also spent time preparing for Three Kings Day by assembling our treasure boxes, continuing the season’s focus on tradition, reflection, and community.
