We brought the holiday cheer to summer with our Christmas in July celebration! 🎄☀️

Residents enjoyed the musical talents of singer and guitarist Denny Carleton snacking on holiday favorites with a sunny twist! We sampled strawberry pretzel parfaits, peppermint brownies, cranberry meatballs, and sliders. From mini fruit tarts to a festive cheeseball, it was a jolly good time filled with laughter, music, and a little midsummer magic!

For Culinarians Day, we celebrated the incredible culinary team that keeps our community full and smiling!

From Culinary Director Mike to Sous Chef Cory, weekend warrior Brittany, and our talented cooks Heather, Jacob, John, and Rhonda… each one brings heart, creativity, and comfort to every meal!

To show our appreciation, residents created heartfelt gratitude books filled with memories, favorite meals, and kind words about the team. It was a beautiful reminder of just how much joy great food and great people bring to our lives!

Tonight residents gathered for our Don’t Step on a Bee Candlelight Dinner, a summertime celebration featuring dishes sweetened with locally sourced honey.

Favorites included the butternut squash soup and honey garlic salmon, alongside a full menu of seasonal highlights: spiced pecan salad with honey-dijon vinaigrette, roasted chicken thighs with honey mustard glaze, balsamic-glazed asparagus, garlic fried rice, and honey cake topped with fresh berries!

We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day with cooler temps, perfect for exploring the Barberton Farmers Market!

Residents picked up fresh local produce and fun finds, from personally engraved rings made on-site to Browns gear just in time for football season. There’s nothing like supporting local and soaking up a summer day together!
