In 2023, studies found that 28.9 MILLION people have an alcohol use disorder, this number is projected to increase yearly.
Alcohol affects multiple organs in the body including the brain, liver, heart, & pancreas leading to many chronic conditions
Studies have shown a correlation between alcohol and many cancers (mouth, esophagus, throat, liver, breast, colon) as it is a Group 1 Carcinogen
A standard drink is defined as 1 beer, 5oz of wine, 1.5oz of spirits. In a day women should consume no more than 1 standard drink, and males 2 standard drinks.

We are excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Morgan McGee, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care. Morgan brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked in Neurology and Trauma/Surgical ICU for 7 years.
She earned her BSN from Texas Tech University and her MSN from the University of Texas Arlington. Morgan is dedicated to creating a collaborative, patient-centered approach to healthcare, ensuring every patient feels heard and supported.
