Invaluable information concerning Funeral Trusts:

Protect your Savings and Assets from nursing home costs which range from $6000 to $10,000 monthly.
If you or your parents require nursing home care or Alzheimer’s nursing home care, you will be required to liquidate your assets from cash, CD’s, cash value in life insurance policies, savings, etc., to a minimum of $2000 in your estate to qualify for Medicaid which will pay for your nursing home costs.

The only way you can protect a portion of your Estate is with an irrevocable Funeral Trust. There is no cost to establish a Funeral Trust except for funding of the Trusts.

If you or your parents are looking at nursing home care, protect yourselves with a Funeral Trust. You have a legal method to preserve up to $15,000 of assets to pay funeral expenses and it is 100% exempt from Medicaid spend down rules. The death benefits are not paid to the Funeral Home. Your beneficiary can designate funds be paid direct to the funeral home. Any excess dollars can be used for other expenses.

Give yourself the peace of mind by knowing that you or your parent’s funeral costs will be paid. Do not leave your children with the burden of funeral costs that can range from $6,000 to $15,000.
