The River Oaks Community had a wonderful Memorial Day.

In the morning, we watched the classic parade with military veterans and high school marching bands.

In the afternoon, we celebrated the day by singing patriotic songs and waving American flags.

We also snacked on cupcakes and ice cream; the day was satisfying and meaningful for all.

The River Oaks community loves to partner with local organizations to enhance the experiences for the residents.

New Life Church of Coppell, a non-denominational Christian Church brought devotion, fun, and creativity to both our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods this past Saturday.

The volunteers led a Saturday devotional with scripture readings and hymns, followed by prize-filled bingo games and the Assisted Living residents also did a craft.

New Life is now scheduled for the second Saturday morning each month and we all are looking forward to seeing them again.
