Glad to see a surgeon acknowledge the importance of rehab in the success of any orthopedic surgery as well in preventing the surgery in the first place.

I hope more OBGYNs and doctors start discussing the importance of pelvic rehab in the treatment and prevention of chronic orthopedic problems (back, neck, hip, knee pain) as well as pelvic problems (bowel, bladder, sexual problems) ESPECIALLY IN WOMEN!

Happiness is connecting with past patients and learning about their success stories.

This was our patient several years ago who had tried everything for pain relief which was affecting every area of her life including her married life. She couldn’t imagine having a 2nd child considering how much pain she was in.

When our physical therapist, Tulsi Desai , examined her, she knew right away that this patient needed a surgery and wasn’t going to benefit from conservative treatment.

The patient then was referred to a specialist surgeon. Tulsi helped her get an emergency appointment with the specialist so that this patient could be scheduled for her surgery asap.

Now she has 3 kids and a thriving married life.

This is exactly what we aspire to do at Active Body Active Life.

Our priority always is what’s right for our patients and we always make our recommendations based on what would bring the best health outcomes for our patients.
