Big news. 🙌 The Copper Harbor Trails Club has been awarded a $50,000 grant from Copper Shores Community Recreation Facilities & Resources and it's going straight toward the Montreal Corridor.

For those who've been following along, you know how much this one means to us. The Montreal Corridor is the final 7.5-mile segment that completes the full 30-mile Keweenaw Point Trail loop and it will create the first ever safe, sustainable, permanent public route to Montreal Falls.

Over the last two days we have had over 80 2nd grade kids from Calumet Schools visiting the mine for a field trip. They decided to be a part of the Delaware Mine Match program and have selected 31 Backpacks as the organization they would like to contribute their admission to. It is great to see kids as young as this embrace the idea of helping out others. If you get a chance, take a visit to their website or page and help the cause.
