Sometimes your body figures it out before your thoughts catch up. You can try to rationalize it, excuse it, or tell yourself it’s not a big deal—but that subtle shift you feel? It’s information, not overthinking.
You’re allowed to pull back without turning it into drama. Creating space doesn’t make you harsh, it means you’re finally listening to yourself. Not everything needs closure through conversation—some things are understood through distance.
