Today I want to talk about a topic that affects many after overcoming acne: post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PYH) No, they are not scars, but dark spots or discoloration that remain after acne heals. Do you feel frustrated by these stains? It happened to me. HPI can be caused by acne inflammation, handling pimples, sun exposure, among other factors. The important thing is to know that there are solutions and that you are not alone. Sun protection is key, and there are also treatments such as peels and laser that can help.
