Dr. Suzel M. Vazquez has distinguished herself for over 20 years in private practice in South Florida and is an expert in such fields as bio-identical hormone replacement, physiologic improvement through hormonal balance, nutrition, lifestyle modification, and weight loss through natural therapies. Throughout her career Dr. Vazquez has devoted herself to the personalized medical care of her patien...ts, focusing on their unique needs. Dr. Vazquez takes a holistic approach that thoroughly examines the practical day-to-day demands and needs of each patient’s life and lifestyle. Dr. Vazquez is Triple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Bariatric Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oviedo in Oviedo, Spain and the University Central del Este in the Dominican Republic. She completed her studies in Internal Medicine at Jamaica Hospital in Jamaica, New York, and later attended Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York for a Fellowship in Endocrinology, where she dedicated her time to conduct research in Osteoporosis of Post-Menopausal Women at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, New York, a Division of Stonybrooke University. Dr. Vazquez has received several Awards of Excellence from the Chamber of Commerce in Key Biscayne and an Award of Appreciation from the Liga Contra el Cancer in Miami, Florida. Dr. Vazquez is a Member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American College of Physicians and other professional organizations.
