Today, we're excited to spotlight Yvette A., Imaging Supervisor at one of our Baptist Outpatient Services facilities! Read on to discover what inspires her to be a part of the Baptist Health team.

"I have had the privilege of working at Baptist for over a span of 14 years. My journey with the organization began in 2010 when I joined as a Patient Financial Representative while simultaneously pursing an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technologist. Upon completing my degree, I was offered the remarkable opportunity to serve as a CT/X-ray technologist in 2015. As my tenure progressed, I was honored to be appointed as the Lead Imaging tech at Country Walk Diagnostics in 2021. Subsequently, in 2022, I was promoted to Imaging Supervisor at Country Walk in 2022, and in 2024, I transitioned to Westchester Diagnostics. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to continue with a phenomenal team. It is a source of pride for me to be part of such an exceptional team and organization." - Yvette A., Imaging Supervisor

Today we’re proud to spotlight Karina V., Multi-Modality Tech, Radiology Tech at West Kendall Baptist Hospital. Read on as she shares her journey, what inspires her, and what she loves most about her team.

"During my clinical hours in radiology school at Doctors Hospital, I witnessed firsthand the care and compassion that are core values throughout the Baptist Health system. That empathy stood out and showed me this is a place where people truly make a difference.

I enjoy all aspects of imaging, so when the opportunity came to cross-train in CT and later MRI, I went for it. Working in X-Ray, CT, and MRI is rewarding because it lets me follow patients through different parts of their care.

What I love most about West Kendall is the friendly, family-like atmosphere—big enough to meet new people, but small enough to feel close-knit. For the past five years at Baptist Health, she has cared for patients across a variety of specialties, and she shares how compassion, innovation, and teamwork continue to fuel her passion for providing exceptional care.

"Working at Baptist Hospital Miami has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of serving patients across a variety of areas—starting in med-surg, moving to neurology, and now caring for some of our most critically ill patients in the ICU. I take pride in being part of a dedicated, collaborative team that goes beyond routine care—such as placing micro-feeding tubes—to ensure our patients receive the nutrition they need for healing and recovery.
