Haven Family Therapy

Haven Family Therapy Family Therapy Practice in Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale, and now online. I practice in English and Portuguese. You’re in search of the perfect therapist.

I empower Teens, Individuals, and Families, to find their worth, improve their relationships and achieve happier and more fulfilled lives. You have several tabs open on your browser, each with a therapist that claims to be the best therapist in Coral Springs, but how can you be sure that they’re right for you? It’s hard to sort through countless profiles and pick the best therapist for you, let alone trust them enough to open up, or know that they care. You want better. You need a therapist that offers more than a blank stare, more than a ‘nodder’. You need someone who is responsive, someone who will find you resources, someone who is not just going to sit there for those 50 minutes.

Those small steps outside the session are how confidence builds, patterns shift, and life starts to feel better.

Proud of you. 🤍👏

When you’re depleted, your patience drops. 🔽
Your motivation drops.🔽
Little tasks start feeling big.🐘
You get more reactive, more emotional, or sometimes you go numb and shut down. 😒

👉 And then people start thinking, “What’s wrong with me?” when really… you’re exhausted.

Taking care of yourself isn’t extra. ❤️
It’s the foundation. 💚

Because when you feel better, you make better choices. You respond instead of react.

You show up better for your family, your partner, your work, and your own life.

January can make people feel like they have to fix everything all at once. And I just wanted to notice—most of us don’t need more pressure. We need more clarity.

So before you set big goals, take a moment and ask yourself these questions. Not to criticize yourself. Just to notice what’s true, what’s working, what isn’t, and what one small step could make your life feel a little better.

Save this for a quiet moment, and if you want support untangling what’s next, click the link in bio to schedule a complimentary consultation. 🤍

Happy New Year ✨

As we enter 2026, may you choose what supports you: rest, connection, boundaries, and healing. 🤍

You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to keep showing up for yourself.

Cheers to a year of growth, gentle courage, and taking care of your mind.

We rush so quickly into “What’s next?”
New goals. New habits. New year, new me.

But before you sprint into next year, take a moment to really see the version of you who carried you through this one.

The you who:
• Showed up on days you wanted to stay in bed
• Survived things you didn’t see coming
• Kept going while juggling grief, stress, or uncertainty
• Tried, failed, tried again, or simply did the best you could with what you had

You don’t have to love how every part of this year looked.
But you can honor your effort, your resilience, your small steps, even your survival.

Maybe honoring that version of you looks like:
• Taking a quiet evening just for yourself
• Journaling about what you overcame
• Saying “thank you” to your own body and mind
• Admitting, “I’ve grown more than I give myself credit for”

What is one thing you’re proud of yourself for this year? 💛

Love is often in the small, consistent things. ✨
👉 Save this as a reminder for the season.
💬 Which one do you want to practice this week?

12/26/2025

Try this tomorrow morning (2 minutes):
1. breathe out slow
2. picture ONE scene
3. feel it in your body
4. release the “how”
5. take one aligned action

Save this for your morning routine. 🤍

It’s OK to have your feelings right now.
It’s OK to be moody.
It’s OK to not really have the energy sometimes.

🪜One step at a time.

Have a good holiday. 💚 Do the best you can.
