Juanita the Flamingo and her trusty rider, Gilbert, invite you join the fun at FOTA's Wild Transplant Adventure Hybrid Run/Walk on Saturday, May 2nd from 7:30-10am at Zoo Miami!

Enjoy a 2-mile fun run/walk through the park, and games, dancing, treats and more at the Finisher Festival, plus a day pass to the Zoo (in person only). All registrants will receive an official event t-shirt and medal!

It was a celebration of friends and volunteers who support and . Great news from the LAORA team: in 2025 there were 210 heroes who saved 600 lives!!! FLORIDA ORGAN TRANSPLANT ASSOCIATION

· We offer emergency grant support to transplant patients/families in need through social workers at all five (5) South Florida transplant hospitals: Broward Health, Cleveland Clinic, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hospital, and Miami Transplant Institute.

· We create fun, community-minded events to bring together the transplant community throughout the year, such as: Build-a-Bear pediatric event, FOTA Transplant Adventure Run/Walk 5K, Marina Day, Adam Straub Memorial Golf Tournament, and Annual Holiday Celebration of Life.

· We offer resources and links both online at our website, www.floridaorgantransplant.org and through our quarterly newsletter, the FOTA Transplant Life Quarterly (mailed to members and supporters, and distributed at all South Florida transplant hospitals.)

· We participate in community events to spread the word on the importance of organ/tissue donation.
