BEFORE AND AFTER
TREATMENT OF PERIODONTITIS ➡️➡️

🦷 Did you know deep cleanings can help regenerate bone?

Scaling and root planing (SRP) doesn’t just fight gum disease—it can promote bone regeneration by removing bacteria that cause bone loss. Once inflammation is reduced, your body can begin to heal and rebuild bone.

📈 Studies show up to 79% increase in bone density after SRP.

In some cases, where bone defects are very extensive already, Periodontal Surgery is also required. Bone grafts and/or tissue-stimulating proteins may be used to support regrowth.

🕐 Recovery is quick—just a few days of mild soreness.

Unattended periodontitis will create a casacde of infection, inflammation, bone and tissue degeneration.

Doing NOTHING will just set the timer for future TOOTH LOSS.

We are excited to share the progress of this case!
The main focus of this orthodontic treatment is to correct the anterior and posterior crossbites that were present.

Have you ever heard of anterior or posterior crossbites?
They’re common types of dental misalignments where your upper teeth occlude inside the lowers, when it should be the opposite.

The ideal time to correct these problems is during childhood, when the bones are still growing and early intervention makes the correction easier and more successful.

Adults can be also be treated and benefit from the results.

Left untreated it can cause issues like difficulty chewing, jaw discomfort, and even changes in facial symmetry.

The good news?
Crossbites can be corrected! Treatment might include braces, clear aligners, expanders, or a tailored combination—each plan customized to gently guide your teeth and jaw into proper alignment.

Fixing crossbites not only improves how your bite works, but also boosts your smile and long-term oral health.

Your bite matters—don’t ignore it.
Let’s get things aligned!
