Is your toddler walking on their toes? You’re not alone!
Toe walking is VERY common in young children, and is most often habitual, meaning it’s a habit their body formed to make them feel more comfortable when first learning to walk.
Even though this usually self-corrects by age 4, it’s important to assess their overall walking pattern, and look out for things like asymmetry, spasticity, or a rigid ankle that is not flexible at all. If any of these things sound familiar, it’s time for a consult!
