Recognizing Heroism: SSO of the Month Award – Kelvin Ray

Dynamic Integrated Security is proud to honor Officer Kelvin Ray as our Safe School Officer of the Month for his heroic actions during a high school football game in Tallahassee.

Fernando Santiago, Vice President of Operations and Business Development at DIS, presents the award. Also joining the ceremony was Jason Ryals, representative of the Leon County School Resource Officer Division, highlighting the strong partnership between DIS and public safety agencies.

As Officer Ray said best:
"I'm grateful I was there that night to stop a tragedy from happening. Whether you're in Tallahassee, down south, or anywhere—always be aware and stay vigilant."

Recognizing Heroism: SSO of the Month Award, Kelvin Ray

Near Gene Cox Stadium, Tallahassee, a dangerous incident unfolded when a group of teens outside the gate was found to have fi****ms, one of which had an illegal switch capable of fully automatic fire. As the situation escalated, Officer Ray immediately sprang into action.
While attempting to breach the stadium gate, two suspects were intercepted. Officer Ray pursued and successfully apprehended one of the individuals believed to be armed, bringing him safely to the ground and helping prevent what could have been a devastating tragedy.

Dynamic Integrated Security is proud to partner with Jonesboro Public Schools in a pioneering step for school safety in Arkansas.

At a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at Douglas MacArthur Junior High, this first-of-its-kind initiative officially launched—placing Commissioned School Security Officers (CSSOs) across the district.

CSSOs are highly trained, armed professionals—many with military backgrounds—who complete 90+ hours of advanced training in:
Emergency response
Tactical combat medicine
Youth mental health first aid
This means rapid protection and prevention in the event of any threat, creating safer learning environments for students.
From Douglas MacArthur and Annie Camp junior highs to magnet elementary schools and the Jonesboro Kindergarten Center—DIS is proud to stand alongside JPS in safeguarding its legacy of Excellence.
Superintendent Doyle emphasized that student safety is at the heart of this mission.
Safety Director Nelson reinforced how this partnership strengthens secure learning across campuses.

We’re fully committed to our mission of raising awareness about the importance of having on-site security in every school. This week, our COO Zeev Fragachan was invited to speak as a School Security Expert, sharing key insights on how to stay safe during active shooter situations and how our team is trained to de-escalate threats and protect learning environments. He appeared on KHOU 11, Univision, La Prensa, and Blaze Media.
