Welcome to the Zen Zone and hydration station, courtesy of The Royal Treatment. This morning, Katie & I served city employees in City Hall. In my room, we experienced relaxation music, soothing sound instruments, essential oils, movement, breath, and tips to destress and refresh any time of day. Outside, Katie poured naturally flavored ice water infused with fruits, vegetables, and fresh herbs. 😌

When I practice hatha flow yoga (or do any exercise), I turn to my fitness tracker to see how my heart responds. It helps me confirm signals from my body and I can fine tune the work and rest. This was my chart from this morning's yoga class. It felt good.

What's your workout lately? I'm digging 25-30 minutes of cardio (elliptical machine) followed by 20-30 minutes of free weights (5 pounds, 3 sets of 10-12 reps), core work, and deep yoga stretches. What gets you inspired and moving on most days of the week?
