Dr. Leonard Kaufman, MD, FACS, MBA They’re noticing changes in energy, libido and performance, and they want to understand why.

In my men’s health medical practice, I find that men today, particularly those between the ages of 35 and 70, are more in tune with their bodies than ever before.

Feeling more tired than usual? Noticing a drop in energy, mood, or drive?

It might not just be stress—it could be Low Testosterone (Low T).

Low T can affect:
✔ Energy levels
✔ Muscle mass
✔ Mood and focus
✔ Libido

The good news? It’s treatable.

Don’t guess—get tested and take control of your health.

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month — a time to educate, raise awareness, and encourage early detection.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men ages 15–35, yet it is also one of the most treatable and curable when detected early.

The key is awareness.

🔹 Perform regular self-exams
🔹 Know what’s normal for your body
🔹 Don’t ignore changes or discomfort
🔹 Seek medical advice promptly

Early detection can save lives.

As a physician, I encourage all men to take a proactive role in their health — and for loved ones to help spread the message. Conversations like these matter.

Let’s break the stigma, raise awareness, and support those affected.

Your health is your greatest asset.

Good health isn’t just about avoiding illness — it’s about optimizing how your body functions so you can live, perform, and feel your best every day.

For many men, health often takes a back seat to work, responsibilities, and daily stress. But small, proactive steps can make a powerful difference over time.

Prioritizing your health supports:

✔ Sustained energy and mental clarity
✔ Hormonal balance, including healthy testosterone levels
✔ Heart and metabolic health
✔ Strength, mobility, and long-term vitality

As a urologist focused on men’s health, I see firsthand how issues like fatigue, low energy, poor sleep, and decreased performance are often early indicators of underlying health concerns.

The good news? When identified early, many of these issues can be addressed with a personalized, proactive approach.
Because investing in your health today pays dividends for years to come.

Frustrated by long waits for appointments, only to spend a few rushed minutes with a doctor before being sent on your way?

Many men today find themselves turning to online advice, quick telehealth visits, or one-size-fits-all solutions for deeply personal health concerns. But when it comes to your health — especially sensitive issues related to urology and men’s wellness — guesswork and shortcuts can lead to frustration, confusion, and unanswered questions.

There is a better way.

My new urology and men’s health practice, which opened in January in Coral Springs, was designed to provide a different kind of healthcare experience — one centered around time, trust, and personalized care.

By seeing fewer patients, I’m able to offer a confidential, unhurried environment where we can have real conversations about your health. That means time to answer your questions, explore the root causes of your concerns, and develop solutions tailored specifically to you.

Whether you’re dealing with prostate health concerns, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, or simply want a more proactive approach to your health, my goal is to partner with you in achieving better long-term wellness.

If you're ready for a more thoughtful and personalized approach to men’s healthcare, I invite you to learn more.

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men ages 15–35, but the good news is—it’s highly treatable, especially when detected early.

As a urologist specializing in men’s health, I want to remind you of something simple that can make a life-saving difference: know your body.

🔹 Perform regular self-exams
🔹 Look for any lumps, swelling, or changes
🔹 Don’t ignore discomfort or pain

Early detection isn’t just important—it’s everything.

There’s no need to feel uncomfortable having this conversation. Your health matters, and taking a few minutes each month to check yourself could save your life.

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t wait—get it checked.

Let’s break the stigma and prioritize men’s health this month and every month.

April is Physical Wellness Month — a time to focus on building a healthier, stronger you.

Physical wellness isn’t just about how hard you train — it’s about how well your body functions, recovers, and adapts over time.

Many men push themselves in the gym, on the golf course, and through the demands of daily life. But true wellness comes from a balance of movement, recovery, and overall health.

Prioritizing your physical wellness supports:

✔ Muscle strength and mobility
✔ Hormonal balance, including healthy testosterone levels
✔ Cardiovascular health
✔ Better energy, sleep, and daily performance

As a urologist focused on men’s health, I often see how factors like hormone levels, sleep quality, stress, and metabolic health all play a critical role in overall physical wellness — not just fitness alone.

If you’re experiencing ongoing fatigue, slower recovery, reduced strength, or a decline in performance, your body may be signaling that something deeper needs attention.

Physical wellness is not just about today — it’s about long-term vitality, resilience, and healthy aging.

This month, take the opportunity to check in with your body, make intentional choices, and invest in your health.

Many men think sun protection is only a summer concern, but that’s not the case. Overexposure to the sun can happen year-round and may lead to damage to your skin and eyes — even on cooler or cloudy days.

Taking simple steps to protect yourself, such as wearing sunscreen, protective clothing, and choosing the right sun protection for your skin type, can make a significant difference in maintaining long-term health.

Preventive care isn’t just about medical tests — it’s also about everyday habits that help reduce your risk for future health problems.

I opened a new urology and men’s health practice in Coral Springs, FL with a clear mission: to help men improve their overall performance, vitality, and long-term health.

Too often, men experience symptoms like fatigue, reduced performance, low energy, or other health changes and aren’t sure what they mean — or what to do next. My goal is to help patients better understand what their bodies are telling them, interpret the data behind their health, and confidently navigate the right next steps.

This practice is designed to look beyond isolated symptoms and focus on the bigger picture of men’s health.

A key component of this approach is an advanced annual wellness program, which includes comprehensive testing and screenings that help identify potential issues earlier. With deeper insights into your health, we can better address common concerns such as hormone imbalance, prostate health, cardiovascular risk factors, metabolic health, and more.

By combining advanced diagnostics with a personalized, prevention-focused approach, my goal is to help men stay healthier, stronger, and more informed about their health.

If you’re ready to take a more proactive role in your health and vitality, I invite you to learn more about how this approach to men’s healthcare can benefit you.

Men’s health isn’t just physical — social connection matters too.

Maintaining friendships, staying involved in your community, and having meaningful hobbies can play an important role in overall health and longevity. Research shows that social isolation can be as harmful as smoking 15 ci******es a day and has been linked to several serious chronic conditions.

Strong relationships support mental health, heart health, and overall well-being.
