Maybe not the prettiest rep but this was an important one for me!

About 14 years ago I thought I would have no problem hitting this number on bench press but with overtraining, not the best technique, and some other factors I never got the job done. Really did not think much about this anymore until the last couple of years and have put in some consistent training, worked on technique and set up, and more mindful training programs and so today I was able to hit this PR during my last heavy training work before a deload week. Feels good hitting lifetime PRs at 35+!

Stay in the fight and keep grinding the work will pay off!

A little Dry Needling to help an athlete with Headaches post-concussion due to muscle issues in the neck area.

This is was the first patient we have seen at our new partner . This is an amazing facility and we are excited about getting the opportunity to work with their members as well as anyone else in the area looking to feel at the top of their game!

Today was a good one!

Did anyone else get to accumulate 1.5 miles of running with their double total knee replacement patient today, because I did! We were hot and sweaty but as you can see we’re proud as well!

This however was not something we just decided to randomly try. She has put in the time and effort to get to this point to make things like running, jumping, and lifting weights possible.

Don’t let anyone else tell you what your limitations are, you write your own rules!

Always fun to get to be a part of events like this! The Practical Wellness always does a great job with this event. Fun to celebrate strength and staying healthy with all these like minded people!

Year 3 of the IC Weightlifting Summit was a success!

It was an honor and so much fun to get the opportunity to present at the USA Gymnastics Region 3 and 4 Congress meetings in Cedar Rapids last week! We got to talk some injury prevention as well as some taping techniques.

The world of gymnastics is amazing and I have been having a lot of fun working with and learning from the athletes and coaches in this environment!

A little slow on my post but here it is.

What an amazing weekend getting to work with football. If you have not been around the 7v7 football world it is an experience! Such a fun and face paced game and this past weekend so full of talented athletes from all over the Midwest and even a team from 🇨🇦. It is a real honor to get to work with these athletes and help them get ready and stay healthy during these events. Also a good opportunity for me to dust off some of my old athletic training skills that I don’t get to use real often 😂.

What an amazing event last night put on by IAwrestle]! About 7-8 years ago I helped to take tickets for this event when it first started and last night I got to be the medical personnel on site. It is so amazing to see how far this event has come and how IAwrestle] has grown! I hope to continue to be able to support and work with this group and all the amazing athletes that they support!
