“Grief is the imprint of where Love has been.”

I said that once, and it’s still true.
Grief doesn’t only come from death.
It can come from leaving a home you loved.
From a relationship that ended—or never fully began.
From a version of your life that once made sense, but no longer fits.
Any place where love lived and then changed shape can leave an imprint.
When grief isn’t acknowledged, it doesn’t disappear.
It settles quietly beneath the surface.
It can dull joy, keep us bracing, and shape our lives without us realizing why.
Many of us were taught to “move on” by not feeling.
To stay strong. To stay functional.
But acknowledging grief doesn’t mean falling apart.
It does take courage to feel what you once couldn’t.
And I want to reassure you of this:
Your molecules won’t fly apart.
You won’t faint.
You’ll probably cry.
And crying is both cleansing and appropriate.
In Path to Joyful Purpose, we don’t rush grief.
We don’t analyze it away or try to rise above it.
We listen to what it’s here to show.
Because grief—when given space—often carries the very information we need to move forward.
Not back into the past, but into a life that feels more honest, more present, and more fully yours.

The moment I knew I couldn’t go back. ✨
I was sitting in a seminar for a technique I felt deeply guided to explore. From the very first moment, something inside me whispered, This makes so much sense. I remember thinking, Why wasn’t this taught in chiropractic school?

This work went far beyond adjusting bones or easing symptoms. It addressed the why—the emotional and energetic patterns beneath the pain that create imbalance in the first place.

I asked for a short session with the founder. I was on the table for maybe four minutes. When I sat up, everything felt different. Lighter. Happier. Free in a way I hadn’t felt in years.

What stunned me most was how it stayed. Later, I tried to think about something that normally upset me—and I couldn’t. My body wouldn’t go there. I just kept smiling, present, at ease.

That was the moment I knew:
I couldn’t practice the way I had before.
I didn’t want to help people just cope or manage pain anymore. I wanted to help them release the emotional and energetic patterns that keep them stuck, so they could fully inhabit their lives—with clarity, vitality, and meaning.

That’s when the past stopped running the present.
I didn’t feel needy, less-than, or helpless anymore.
I felt here.
And that’s where healing actually happens.

If you’re here, something is shifting.
Most people don’t really find me randomly. They arrive because of an ache — the quiet knowing that something is ending and something else hasn’t yet come into focus.
It’s so normal — maybe even the new normal — to feel confusion, restlessness, or grief when we reach these change points. Especially when the old ways of being no longer fit, but the next chapter hasn’t fully revealed itself.

Your feelings matter. When you stop avoiding them and face your feelings you have better boundaries and more power.
It takes some courage and support.
Before I began chiropractic college I went into therapy to face my feelings of abandonment and betrayal. It was hard but somehow I knew that on the other side of it my life could flourish.
I now use (and for the past 30+ years) quantum healing modalities so you don't need to relive your past trauma.
Feelings are a sacred path.
