Here is a link to a radio program called "Talk Iowa" I was interviewed for a few years back. The topic is alternative art and I'm the 3rd interview of 4.

Paintings, symphonies, and sculptures have long been considered art forms, but the last century has given way to newer forms of expression that many…

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. We are still open and being safe. We are making eyes with precautions in place and polishes an hour apart to limit people contact with each other. Leave a message if we don’t answer the phone and we will get back to you!

Be safe and have a positive attitude!

To our patients,

We are still open as we know that having a prosthetic eye is important to our patients. The safety of our patients, staff, and community is our highest priority. We are paying close attention to the recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and local health officials. As events unfold, we will take necessary steps to protect the health of our staff and patients.

We are working hard to do our part to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19, and we wanted to share with you some of the steps that we are taking.

1. Our office will be thoroughly disinfected between patients.

2. We are limiting the number of people in our office. Each patient will be allowed to have one person accompany them.

3.When you arrive, you will be asked to wash your hands for the recommended 20 seconds.

4. We will ask you the recommended CDC questions to determine if you have had any exposure to or symptoms of COVID-19.

5. Magazines and toys have been removed from the waiting room. Please bring your own reading material or activities.

Thank you.

Day one of making my new eye is done. The fit is better and the iris is the correct size. Tomorrow they will finish the pupil and the correct coloring of the iris. For now I look like a merman.
Tomorrow morning around 9:30 Detroit time I will get started. Thanks for all of your support. If you know someone who this may help please tell them to look back over today’s posts here or on my page Dave Rexroth on Facebook.
See you tomorrow with the finished product.
