We enjoyed a beautiful holiday caring cadences performance from the Dunn Quartet from the University of Iowa. The Dunn Quartet and U of I music therapy program work together to create an interactive music program tailored to those with dementia! Residents enjoyed this fun music program. 🎶 🔔🎄

Welcome to Lantern Park Specialty Care

Lantern Park Specialty Care as been a pillar of long term care in Johnson County since 1970. We have provided quality nursing home care with the addition of skilled nursing care in 2000. This means we can provide for the short term, intensive therapy that allow many patients to return to their own homes.

Continuity of care is important for our residents and families. We are fortunate to have such a professional team - our department heads have over 100 years experience collaboratively. It is comforting to build relationships over time that can help ease your apprehension about the whole process.

We are most fortunate to have a new building! It is modern and efficient but also warm and inviting. It is light and airy in the halls, dining room, resident rooms and all over. It is also quieter with our wireless call light system and wall-to-wall carpeting. We invite you out so we may show you just how special our new facility is. We have lots of private rooms, also.
