As I approach the final weekend of Yoga Teacher Training, these two photos — captured by my classmate Curt (thank you!) — are a beautiful reminder that I am capable of hard things I once thought were impossible.
Our last class focused on inversions: headstands, handstands, and more. I’ll be honest — at first, I hung back and didn’t even want to try. When I took this course last year, it just didn’t happen for me. But what a difference a year makes. While the headstand is still a work in progress 😄
I was able to nail this pose and a full handstand against the wall — no photo of that one, but the feeling was absolutely exhilarating. 😍
As many of you know — and some of you may not — I’m taking the Yoga Teacher Training for the second time. I came back to deepen my knowledge and practice. I’ve been teaching Yin Yoga for nearly a year now (I can hardly believe it!), and I wanted to strengthen my Hatha yoga skills while diving deeper into areas like yogic philosophy, energy flow, meditation, mantra, anatomy, and breath work.
In my opinion, you never stop learning and growing. I am a forever student, committed to embodying yoga in my own life and sharing it with those ready to explore where it fits in theirs. 🧘♀️
I truly love what I do — and I love that I can weave my other passions, Reiki and Sound Healing, into my classes and personal practice. I have big dreams: one-on-one private sessions for those not yet ready for a group setting, chair yoga for those who need more modifications, and so much more on the horizon.
My mission has always been to bring yoga to every body — regardless of size, age, or fitness level. Too many people are afraid to step onto a mat, and I want those people to know: I see you. Yoga has the power to change your life, just as it has changed mine. My body is stronger and more flexible, yes — but more than that, my mind is quieter, my heart is more open, and for the first time in my life, my spirit feels truly free.
If you have ever felt like you wanted to try yoga or to one of my Sunday classes but feel nervous, please reach out. ❤️
Want to take YTT head to and get started! You won’t regret it! ✨🥰
