Jacob update-

Today Jacob had his 6 month complex care appointment and his 3 month follow up with Dr Dede.

We had some concerns with the length he lost off of his left leg after his surgery in February.
Today after going over his X-ray with Dr Dede it was determined the loss of length was because of his spasticity pulling up on his left side. He may need another surgery in the future to correct the shift the bone has made that was left in his left hip after his surgery, but Dr Dede is hopeful any further shifting is over.

It was also recommended Jacob not bear any weight, such as standing, and concentrate more on stretching and comfort . This was not the news we were hoping for but we will continue to do everything we possibly can do to make him more comfortable and look into more at home therapies, etc..
