**Get Ready!** Appointments are open for approved medical verifications for medical ma*****na cards. The Kentucky Medicinal Cannabis Program soon will begin accepting applications for the medical ma*****na cards you need to obtain medical ma*****na from authorized shops, starting January 1, 2025.

**Important Dates:**
- **January 1, 2025:** The Patient and Caregiver Registry Portal will be accessible.
- **60-Day Certification:** An approved medical professional's certification is valid for sixty (60) days. If expired, it won't be accepted.

**Eligibility:** To qualify for a medical ma*****na card, you must be diagnosed with one of the approved diagnosis:
- Cancer (any kind)
- Chronic Pain
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Epilepsy or another uncontrollable seizure disease
- Post-traumatic stress disorder
- Cyclical vomiting syndrome or chronic nausea
- ALS or Lou Gehrigs Disease
- Parkinson’s or Chron’s Disease
