I often have people ask me for my smoothie recipes...so, I finally wrote one down. If you try it, come back and let me know what you think...good or bad. If you didn’t like it, please share what specifically was not good for your tastebuds.
I also make popsicles with this recipe
On The Spoon Protein Fruit Smoothie
(You can substitute any fruit but may have to add honey or Monk Fruit as sweetener. Also, may need to swap chocolate protein powder with Vanilla protein powder. I don't use any with Whey because I hate the taste.
Ingredients:
2 c Silk Unsweetened Coconut Milk
2 c USDA Organic Blueberries, (frozen)
2 c USDA Organic Pineapple, (Frozen)
1/4 c USDA Organic Chia seeds
1/4 c USDA Organic Nutritional Yeast
1/2 c USDA Organic Coconut Milk, canned
2 scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
ice (optional), for coldness
Directions:
In order of ingredients, add to blender. Blend until smooth.
Note: Add more unsweetened coconut milk if you want a thinner smoothie.
