We’ve had a few patients ask about the forecast and our office hours, so here’s the latest:

• Current forecast: Any potential snow is projected for this weekend.
• Office hours: No impact to our office hours at this time.

That said… this is our weather we’re talking about. Around here, it can go from cozy winter coats to flip-flops and sunshine overnight. 🧥🌞🩴

🛒 Planning your milk and bread run? Here is a gentle reminder regarding any upcoming appointments.
• If you have an appointment early next week and prefer to play it extra safe, you’re welcome to reschedule for a later date. Our team will accommodate however we can.

🛡️ If the weather does take a turn for the worse, please know that the safety of our patients and staff is always our top priority. Should a closure become necessary:
• Any necessary closures will be communicated directly
• Our team will personally call each scheduled patient
• Immediate needs will be addressed
• Office visits and surgeries will be rescheduled as soon as possible

📢 How we’ll keep you informed:
• Updated hours or closures will be posted here on social media
• No need to call the office preemptively. We promise clear, calm, and timely communication.

Happy Birthday Dr. Darwin Wooten, the force behind our practice who has been improving vision for years, not just for his patients but for anyone lucky enough to cross his path. Whether it's diagnosing eye conditions with the precision of a lightsaber or rescuing patients from the dark side of poor vision, you are a true hero!

To say you're dedicated is an understatement. You work endless hours and will even drop everything. Yes, even when you're supposed to be off, you come in to save the day. Your commitment to your patients goes beyond professional; it's like you're the Obi-Wan Kenobi of the ophthalmology world. When someone calls with an emergency, you're there faster than the Millennium Falcon jumping to light speed. 🚀

As a surgeon, father, grandfather, and friend, you always make time to care about those around you, and it’s no surprise that your patients feel like family too. Well, all of us that work for you feel like every patient is your family. You have the rare ability to make someone feel at ease, whether you're cracking a joke or reminding them to stay in the “good vision zone” (that’s a thing, right?). 👀

You’ve been a mentor and steadfast friend to all of us. It’s not every day you get to work with someone who’s as visionary as you are, both literally and figuratively! Thank you for being the guiding light in this practice. We truly appreciate your tireless work ethic (most days), your kindness, and the humor you bring to our day-to-day lives. 🙌
