McPeters Funeral Home was founded in 1905 to provide burial insurance and economical funeral service to North Mississippi and the surrounding area. McPeters bought the business from their uncle and upon the death of W.L. McPeters his son joined the business. A young Bill McPeters, the son of J.R. McPeters, also joined the business and they continued to work together until the death of J.R. In 195

4 Bill bought out his cousin to become the sole owner of the family business located at 710 Waldron Street. In 1978 McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors moved to its current location 1951 East Third Street. We continue to serve as the cornerstone of compassion and service, and the bedrock of generational success in Corinth and surrounding areas for our families at their time of need.
