Dr. Lori Schneider is a Board Certified Neurologist and Medical Acupuncturist. Sh and is also a certified medical acupuncturist.

Lakeside Neurology is a small, friendly, privately owned practice which was established by
Dr. Lori Schneider in 1994 and provides extremely high quality, personal care. Dr. Schneider has been Board Certified in Neurology since 1995. She practices outpatient adult general neurology including the treatment of headache disorders, neuropathies, neck and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, seizure disorders, dementia, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. By integrating the best of traditional medicine with the best of alternative medicine, Dr. Schneider is able to offer a unique, holistic approach, to caring for her patients. She frequently uses natural supplements, such as vitamins and herbs, to successfully treat many common neurologic disorders such as migraines, vertigo and peripheral neuropathy. Dr. Schneider performs EMG and Nerve Conduction Velocity studies in her office. She also offers blood testing and counseling for vitamin and nutritional deficiencies and Botox injections for the treatment of intractable migraine headaches. Lakeside Neurology is now offering blood testing (Oxford Biotechnologies - LEAP*) to detect delayed allergies to food. Many chronic illnesses, such as migraines, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, IBS and autoimmune diseases have been linked to delayed allergic reactions to foods and additives. This novel testing technique focuses on identifying the causes of a patient's chronic conditions and repairing and strengthening their immune system with a personally designed elimination and rotation diet. I want to share an important milestone in my professional journey and express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust you have placed in me over the years as your neurologist at Lakeside Neurology. It has been a pleasure to care for my patients over the past thirty-one years.

After careful reflection, I have decided to close Lakeside Neurology, effective November 1, 2025, and establish a new practice: Acupuncture & Wellness MD. This new wellness center reflects my passion for holistic, patient-centered care. While I will no longer be offering traditional neurological services, I am excited to continue supporting your health through evidence-based alternative therapies designed to treat the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Acupuncture & Wellness MD will offer:
