Everyone wish a Happy Birthday to Miranda!! She has been such a fantastic addition to Catalyst this year. She jumped right in and made an immediate impact for our business. She has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to our runners and endurance athletes, and been a blessing and hope for our pelvic clients and young mothers.

This month we celebrate 11 years of Catalyst serving the Lake Norman area!! It’s safe to say that Year 11 has been the best so far. What started as one physical therapist working with a portable massage table in a few different gyms around Lake Norman has grown into something much bigger and better than was ever imagined!

This year we celebrate our first full year in our own space. We have enjoyed expanding our equipment offerings and our services, including personal and group training. Most importantly, we celebrate adding a fantastic physical therapist to our staff - Miranda Thompson. Miranda has been an exciting addition this year, helping us provide care to an even larger audience, and expanding our treatment offerings to include pelvic health.

As we move into Year 12, our mission is unchanged: provide the best and most comprehensive rehab services to the Lake Norman area. We could not do what we do without your support. Thank you for continuing to trust us with your care, and giving us the opportunity to be a part of your team!

Ligamentous injuries can be tricky to come back from, especially for someone who’s goal is to continue with sports. Normally, we like to focus on strength, stability, and achieving full range of motion before getting back to the return to sport activities. Sofia has been killing the rehab process and is going to crush the rest of her soccer season because of all of the hard work she’s put in with her ankle!

Most of our athletes are deep into their fall sport season, and some are even competing in conference meets and state tournaments! Our Catalyst athlete, Mason, crushed his race this past week at his Cross Country Conference Meet. Finishing his race with a strong finishing time of 17:22 for the 5K shows how hard work pays off! Great job, Mason! 💪🏽💪🏽
