Residents had a wonderful time visiting Grumpy Grampa’s Fruit Farm! 🍎🥧🍂

They enjoyed tasting fresh apples, sipping delicious apple cider, and spending a beautiful fall day together! We made good use of the apples donated by Grumpy Grampa’s and baked delicious apple muffins!

A big thank you to Grumpy Grampa’s for your generosity and helping our residents enjoy such a sweet and memorable autumn day!

Meet Transportation Assistant Tim Tallman, our "Employee Spotlight."

Tim said that he enjoys his job because he likes helping others and seeing the smiles on their faces.

"Tim is very dependable and is always willing to help, even during his days off or during odd hours. He is so kind to our residents and they all trust and respect him. I am so grateful that he is a part of our team!” - Alex McConnell, Executive Director

Tim went to 14 different schools in eight different states, which might be one of the reasons he loves traveling! Tim also enjoys attending garage sales, flea markets, festivals, and fairs. He also loves Christmas, which is as you may or may not know, is in 62 days!

Where do ghosts buy their Halloween candy? At the "ghost-ery” store. We know, we know, a little “candy corny,” but we had to in the spirit of the season!

We are accepting candy donations for our Halloween event, so next time you are at the ghost-ery store, if you can, please pick up some candy and donate it to Cornell Health Services. You can drop donations off until Oct. 30.
