We spent 2 weeks getting the body of our beanies done before meeting to do the final part of our project. The body was completed by alternating an extended single crochet stitch between front loops and back loops. It makes this awesome texture! And what’s an extended single crochet, you ask? Insert your hook into your stitch, grab yarn and pull it through the stitch and through the loop on your hook like a slip stitch (you’ll end with two loops on your hook), then grab yarn again and finish off your single crochet by pulling that yarn through both loops. Your stitch ends up being the height of a half-double crochet. We’re almost done with our class!
