“The Magic of Teamwork”
Twenty-five Dignity Memorial associates from the Orange County market spent the day helping to decorate the OneLegacy Donate Life Rose Parade Float for the Pasadena Rose Parade. This year’s parade theme, The Magic of Teamwork, was beautifully reflected in the float’s dedication to Treasuring Every Moment Together. The float honored 12 individuals who saved the lives of others through the selfless gift of organ and tissue donation.

Through tenacious reporting and with the help of several organizations, Dorothy Taquino, a victim of Hurricane Katrina, has been identified after 20 years. There is still a little red tape to get through, but Dorothy will finally be laid to rest at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, where her headstone has been since she pre-planned her own arrangements in 1988.
