Saleh Vascular Care

Saleh Vascular Care Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) specialist. We treat a number of arterial issues such as PAD.

Dr. Omar Saleh is a board certified vascular and interventional radiologist. Dr. Saleh graduated medical school in 2007 from the University of Mississippi. He then went on to complete a 5 year residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and then completed a 1 year fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Arkansas Medical Center where he learned how to excel in minimally invasive image guided procedures. Dr. Saleh has over 10 years’ experience treating a variety of conditions related to women’s health, venous and arterial disease in a minimally invasive fashion where most procedures can be performed in the office and patients can be discharged same day. Many of these procedures can serve as viable alternatives to major surgery and with less complications and faster recovery time.

Once, you used to think nothing of taking long hikes. Now you get leg cramps so bad you can barely walk around your house. Your doctor has a laundry list of things that might be causing them, but no definitive answers. Meanwhile, you’re feeling stuck, scared, and alone. Is this what the rest of your life is going to be like?

Leg cramps that come on with activity and go away with rest are often one of the first signs of peripheral artery disease (PAD), a condition that progressively blocks the arteries in the legs and feet. Over time, those suffering from PAD experience increasing pain and disability, but because PAD’s symptoms can be confused with many other conditions, a correct diagnosis can take a long time to come.

At the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center, we’re dedicated to helping our patients find answers and solutions. We can accurately diagnose and treat PAD, with minimally invasive treatments that restore circulation without large incisions, lengthy hospital stays, or extended recovery. To learn more about how we can help you reclaim your quality of life, schedule your consultation today.

Does the thought of having surgery to treat your diabetic foot wound have you in a panic?

Your fears aren’t irrational. If you’re already having trouble healing from an injury, is a large incision going to fare much better? Surgery is risky for anyone, but diabetes increases the risks of post-surgical complications such as infection, fluid and electrolyte imbalances, kidney problems, and more.

Poor circulation from peripheral artery disease (PAD) can be the reason foot wounds fail to heal—and you don’t need surgery to fix it. At the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center, we specialize in minimally invasive treatments to open blocked arteries and restore critical blood flow, helping your body heal itself. No big incisions, no general anesthesia, no hospital stays, no grueling recovery.

If surgery is the next step for your diabetic foot ulcer, get a second opinion first—call us to schedule your consultation today.

How long is too long to suffer?

Unfortunately, at the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center, we often see patients whose leg cramps—a classic symptom of peripheral artery disease (PAD)—are mistakenly attributed to other conditions. By the time they come to us and get an accurate diagnosis, their painful symptoms and loss of function may be advanced. One patient suffered for two years before the persistence of his eldest daughter brought him to us!

Don’t let this be your story. If your leg cramps are getting worse, or the treatment you’ve been prescribed isn’t working, you owe it to yourself to find out if PAD might be the cause. At the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center, we have the diagnostic equipment on site to correctly diagnose PAD and get you started on an effective treatment plan immediately. Our minimally invasive procedures can open blocked blood vessels to provide relief without hospitalization, surgery, or lengthy recovery periods.

Don’t wait, wonder, and worry. Schedule your consultation today.

Retirement isn’t what you imagined it would be. Instead of spending days on the golf course with your friends, you’ve had to bow out time and again from stubborn leg cramps. Your doctor isn’t sure what’s causing them, but nothing you’ve tried so far—changing your medications, drinking more water, eating bananas, even stretching—has helped. Your gut tells you it isn’t just because you’re getting older. It isn’t normal to have this much trouble walking at your age!

Leg cramps can be caused when your muscles don’t get enough blood flow during an activity like walking, and peripheral artery disease (PAD) may be behind it. But how do you know when this is the cause?

At the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center, we have the diagnostic equipment on-site to accurately diagnose PAD. You don’t have to accept limited mobility and reduced quality of life due to PAD. Our minimally invasive treatments can open blocked arteries to restore circulation, reducing pain and restoring function. If what your doctor is telling you doesn’t feel like the whole story, we can help you find answers—schedule your consultation today.

If you have a diabetic foot wound that isn’t responding to treatment, is amputation inevitable?

That wound may not be healing, despite the best efforts of your podiatrist and wound care specialist, because the arteries in your foot are blocked by peripheral artery disease (PAD). You’re more likely to have this progressive condition if you have diabetes, and lack of blood flow makes it harder for foot ulcers to heal.

At the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center, we specialize in minimally invasive treatments that open blocked arteries without surgery. No hospital stays, no general anesthesia, no big incisions with an increased risk of infection. If everything you’re doing for that foot wound isn’t enough, call us before you schedule surgery.

Do you feel like your quality of life is slipping away while your doctors tell you all the things your problem isn’t?

It’s an all-too-familiar story. Patients are shuffled between primary care physicians, imaging centers, and specialists, each providing limited answers. It’s often up to the patient to try to put together the pieces of a medical puzzle while they’re feeling increasingly unwell, frustrated, and scared.

At the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center, we’re not just another stop on an endless medical trudge. We’re here to get to the root of your problem and to find solutions that treat the cause, rather than chasing symptoms. We won’t send you out the door for tests to identify peripheral artery disease (PAD) or other vascular or venous conditions, because we have the diagnostic equipment in-house to get the answers you need fast. To find out more about how we can help you recover the quality of life you deserve, schedule your consultation today.

It shouldn’t take a superhuman effort to get an accurate diagnosis.

Our patient’s pain and disability had been increasing for two years while he saw medical providers who prescribed treatments that produced no relief. His loving daughter, following her instinct that something just wasn’t right, brought him to see Dr. Saleh at the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center. In our office, we were able to confirm that his symptoms—leg cramps, exhaustion, shortness of breath, and back and stomach pain—were due to peripheral artery disease (PAD). Better yet, with a minimally invasive treatment, we were able to alleviate the blockage that was causing his pain and disability. But we couldn’t give him back the time he lost to misdiagnosis and delay.

If you’re getting the medical runaround while your leg cramps are getting worse and you suspect PAD, schedule a consultation with us today. We’re here to provide answers and solutions.

Are you unwilling to accept that your quality of life can’t be better?

The leg cramps that started out as relatively mild and intermittent have become more severe, and nearly constant. Your leg pain is even keeping you up at night. Your doctor suggests that because of your diabetes, it might be peripheral artery disease (PAD), but can’t really tell you how you can feel better or regain function—just give you recommendations on how to keep it from getting worse.

Is this all there is?

No. At the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center, we specialize in minimally invasive treatments to open blocked arteries in the legs and feet—no surgery, no general anesthesia, no hospital stays. You don’t have to suffer without hope. Schedule your consultation to learn about your treatment options today.

How familiar is this scene? You’ve noticed that on your morning walk, your legs start to cramp up and burn. It doesn’t feel like the satisfying ache of building new muscle, and it goes away when you rest.

You tell your doctor. He sends you for some tests but suggests maybe you need more exercise.

The tests come back. Inconclusive. He sends you to a specialist. It takes months to get an appointment, and you’re seen for only 15 minutes. More tests. Still no answers. Your legs hurt more than ever, and you’re no closer to a solution.

This kind of leg cramp is a classic symptom of peripheral artery disease (PAD), and lost time is a lost opportunity to prevent its progression. When you might have PAD, getting trapped in a medical maze isn’t just frustrating, it can be dangerous to your long-term health. That’s why the Vein & Fibroid Treatment Center is fully equipped to diagnose and treat PAD right here in our office. We know you need answers—call us today to schedule your consultation.

February is Black History Month, a time to reflect on both the struggles and contributions of our country’s African American community. Our history and culture are richer thanks to the accomplishments of the Black men and women from before our nation’s founding until the present day.
