Hiking in the drizzle? Why not!
We hit the trails at Laguna Coast Wilderness – Laurel Canyon yesterday and it was so worth it.
8 miles of wet dirt, gravelly and rocky fun, misty views, and cold-weather laughs with friends.
We didn’t let the drizzle stop us—we embraced it.
Nature. Movement. Friendship. That’s how we do Saturdays.

Okay… how have I lived this close and never hiked Mt. Rubidoux?! 😅
I’ve heard about it forever and for some reason just never went. Well, I finally did, and it totally surprised me.
The views? Stunning.
The trail? Better than expected.
Me? Low-key proud for making it up there without complaining. 😄
It’s a reminder that sometimes the best trails are the ones you’ve been sleeping on.
Got my steps in, got my sweat on, and got a little soul refresh while I was at it.

💜Back then, I didn’t understand the difference between a seizure and epilepsy, and I know many others don’t either.
So here it is, in simple words:
🧠 A seizure is a sudden burst of abnormal electrical activity in the brain that can cause changes in movement, behavior, or awareness.
💜 Epilepsy is when a person experiences two or more unprovoked seizures. NOT EVERY SEIZURE means you have epilepsy, but EPILEPSY ALWAYS involves seizures.
Purple Day is about breaking the silence, spreading awareness, and standing with those who live with epilepsy every single day, often without anyone knowing.
If you or someone you love is affected, I see you. You’re not alone.
Let’s keep the conversation going, and keep showing up for one another with understanding, love, and support.
Purple Day reminds me that so many people are silently living with epilepsy. Kids, adults, families, and many of them are afraid to talk about it. That’s why awareness matters. Compassion matters.
