Jean Pierre is the winner of the Coronado News’ 4th of July art contest!
In celebration of Coronado's upcoming 4th of July festivities, The Coronado News hosted an Independence Day t-shirt art contest. Residents of all ages were invited to submit their original artwork for the chance to have it featured on a t-shirt that will be distributed on the 4th of July. The only requirement? It must capture the essence of Independence Day in Coronado and Jean Pierre Marques’ piece “Fun Celebration,” a patriotic bicycle painted in liquid acrylic and ink, took first place!
