Are you struggling to lose weight and feel like maybe your body has been working against you?

It may actually be. You may be insulin resistant.

Insulin resistance is a condition in which the body's cells do not respond properly to the hormone insulin. Insulin is produced by the pancreas and helps regulate the amount of sugar (glucose) in the blood. It does this by signaling cells to absorb glucose from the bloodstream to use as energy or to store it for later use.

In laymen's terms, you can think of insulin as a key that unlocks the doors of cells to let glucose in. When insulin resistance occurs, it's like the key doesn't fit well in the lock anymore. As a result, the cells don't take in as much glucose, and the sugar stays in the bloodstream, leading to high blood sugar levels. In response, the body releases more insulin to bring your sugar levels to normal.

And here’s the problem- insulin tells your body to store fat.

So even with that diet, that fitness routine, all that work, you’re frustrated and not seeing results.

I’ve seen it over and over for 5 years now. And I have helped hundreds of people just like you.

Over time, insulin resistance can lead to type 2 diabetes, as the pancreas struggles to produce enough insulin to compensate for the body's resistance. This results in chronically high blood sugar levels, which can make you sick in so many ways.
