On Valentine’s Day, My DOC's Executive Director Dr. Khatibi attended the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball — an inspiring evening focused on advancing cardiovascular health and saving lives. Along with Dr. Khatibi, KIII 3 News's John-Thomas Kobos and Dr. Salim Surani showed their support towards bringing awareness about cardiovascular health.

Heart health is especially important in maternal and obstetric care. Cardiovascular disease remains one of the leading causes of pregnancy-related complications, and conditions like hypertension, preeclampsia, and peripartum cardiomyopathy can have lasting effects on both mother and baby.

At My DOC, we believe maternal health is heart health. Early risk assessment, blood pressure monitoring, and comprehensive prenatal care are essential parts of protecting mothers during pregnancy and beyond.

We’re grateful for opportunities to support organizations working to improve outcomes for women and families in our community. ❤️

Today, we are thankful to say that Rotary Club of Corpus Christi invited My DOC's Executive Director, Dr. Esther Khatibi, to speak at their luncheon. Thank you kindly for your warm welcome, and for presenting Dr. Khatibi with a Certificate of Appreciation.

My DOC is grateful for the support that the local communities of the Coastal Bend has shown. Together, we can further the mission of serving moms who need help.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, our clinic will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026!
We honor Dr. King’s legacy, and will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026.

My DOC's 2026 starts off with a wonderful partnership!

We’re excited to welcome back healthcare administration student Arabella, from Texas State University, who will be joining us for this school semester! She is currently in her final semester, and we’re thrilled to have her gain hands-on experience with our team as she completes this important milestone in her academic journey.

We have wonderful news to share with you!

As we wrap up 2025, The Coastal Bend Community Foundation has given the My Direct Obstetric Care Nonprofit clinic a $25,000 grant towards the My DOC Ultrasound Program! Awarded through the Arnim Grant. This act of generosity impacts the clinic greatly, and My DOC deeply appreciates not only the kind-hearted notion, but the dedication to serve uninsured/underinsured and high risk pregnant women of the Coastal Bend.

Our mission is to provide high quality, affordable, evidence based obstetric care to all women regardless of their social, religious, ethnic or economic background. We are committed to reducing perinatal adverse outcomes and mortality by providing individualized early obstetric care to the most vulnerable populations within our community.

Coastal Bend Community Foundation was incorporated in 1981 with the mission of improving the quality of life in the seven counties of the Coastal Bend. The Foundation serves donors by providing a vehicle for the establishment of various types of charitable funds designed to fulfill their wishes. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed over $177 million from
donor contributions and revenues to scholarships to students and grants to nonprofit organizations.

In observance of Thanksgiving, My DOC will be closed on Thursday, November 27th, and Friday, November 28th. The clinic will close early on Wednesday, November 26th at 3PM.

We are thankful for our patients, supporters, and community! We will resume normal hours on Monday, December 1.
