🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.

We had such a fun Easter spring fling with our community! 🐣💛 Our residents and families enjoyed face painting, BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers, an egg hunt, snow cones, and even a visit from the Easter Bunny. 🐰 It was so nice seeing everyone come together and just have a good time. 💕

What does Occupational Therapy look like❓

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.

During Occupational Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the amazing therapists who help our rehab patients rebuild confidence, independence, and the skills that make daily life meaningful. 🫶

April is Volunteer Month, and we are celebrating the amazing people of all ages who share their time with our residents. From calling bingo to painting nails 💅, performing music 🎵 to simply sitting and chatting, our volunteers bring an essential joy and connection to our community.

Our residents had such a fun time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! 🌈☘️ We played St. Patrick’s bingo and wrapped it up with some yummy shamrock shakes at our little party 🥤💚 Lots of laughs, smiles, and a whole lot of green spirit! 💫
