This little one came to us with quite a bit of tension and imbalance, which was showing up as challenges with nursing early on.

Over the course of a few visits, we’ve been working through that tension and helping her body find a more natural, comfortable state.

Today, for the first time, we got to see her fully let go, completely relaxed, loose, and at ease 💚

Moments like this are what we’re after. Not just a calm baby, but one whose body is moving and functioning the way it’s designed to.

Tomorrow we celebrate the 4th Anniversary of our Breastfeeding Support Group at Empower Wellness.

What began as a simple vision — that no mother should walk her breastfeeding journey alone — has grown into a strong, supportive, evidence-based community for families in our area.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Kristin Knowlton for opening the doors of her office and creating a welcoming space where mothers can gather, learn, and feel supported. This collaboration has made a meaningful impact in the lives of so many families.

Through Materna Prenatal and Lactation Services, we remain committed to protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding with compassionate, IBCLC-led guidance. Over the past four years, we’ve witnessed:
