Dementia Friendly Corpus Christi Initiative This initiative is addressing the aging population and the concurrent rise in the number of adults living with dementia.

Our city will be informed, safe and respectful of individuals with symptoms of dementia, their families and caregivers.

UPDATE: Tomas has been located and reunited with family.

CCPD needs your help in locating missing elderly male.

Tomas Reyes was last seen around noon today on foot in the area of Sentinel Dr. and Don Patricio Rd. in Flour Bluff.

Tomas is 64 years old, 6’2” tall, weighs 160 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with blue sleeves, and blue jeans. Tomas does show early stages of dementia.

If you observe Tomas or are aware of his current location, please promptly contact 911 or the non-emergency number (361) 886-2600.

UPDATE: Aurora has been located and is reunited with family.

Help us locate a missing elderly female.

The Corpus Christi Police Department is requesting your assistance in locating an elderly female missing from the area. Aurora Margarita Barrera, age 85, was last observed at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 2800 Elizabeth Street. Aurora suffers from early stages of dementia.

Aurora stands at a height of 5 feet 1 inch and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She was dressed in a light pink shirt featuring black and white stripes on the sleeves and grey shorts.

If you observe Aurora or are aware of her current location, please promptly contact 911.

CRITICAL MISSING ELDERLY

Corpus Christi Police needs your help locating a missing elderly male.

72-year-old Cristobal Oliva Jr was reported missing by family members and was last seen at around 4:45pm on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the 6000 block of S. Padre Island Drive on the eastbound side.

Mr. Oliva is described as a Hispanic male, who is 5’11”, weighs approximately 160 pounds, has brown eyes, short gray hair, and was last seen wearing a dark blue Dallas Cowboys shirt, light gray sweatpants and black shoes. Mr. Oliva suffers from dementia and other medical conditions that require medical assistance.
