Dear Valued Families,
We want to share an important update regarding watering in our cemetery.
Recently, representatives from the City of Corpus Christi visited our park and informed us that, due to the current drought conditions, watering can no longer be permitted in the cemetery effective March 4, 2026.
Our community is currently under Stage 3 drought restrictions, and local water reserves are now at approximately 8.9% capacity and continuing to decline. The two primary reservoirs that supply much of our region’s water—Lake Corpus Christi and Choke Canyon—are at critically low levels after several years of drought. City officials have warned that without significant rainfall, our region could face a water emergency and severe shortages in the coming months
City and County leaders are actively working toward long-term solutions, including new groundwater projects and other water supply initiatives, but for the foreseeable future our community must conserve water in every way possible.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Please know this requirement is outside of our control, and we deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to conserve water for our community.
Thank you for helping us protect this vital resource for our neighbors and future generations.
