Are you wondering if your child may need glasses? 🤔 Here are some signs to look out for!
1. Blurry vision, double vision, or headaches.
2. Avoiding reading, writing or drawing.
3. Excessively watery or red eyes.
4. Clumsiness, bumping into objects, or poor hand-eye coordination.

If your child is displaying any of these, bring them in for an eye exam! 🤓

Kids experience vision changes a lot as they grow. 👶➡️👩 Myopia (nearsightedness) can develop quickly, so annual eye exams are crucial.

The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends that children have their first comprehensive eye exam at 6 months of age, then subsequent exams at age 3, at the start of school (around age 5-6), and every two years thereafter if no vision correction is needed. Children who wear glasses or have other vision correction should have annual eye exams, or more frequently if recommended by their eye doctor.
