💧 Our residents at Waterford just took a big step toward protecting our water system! They learned essential tips about water, sanitation, and, most importantly, what to flush and not to flush down the toilet.
By making simple changes, we can all help prevent clogs, protect our pipes, and keep our water clean. Let's stay informed and do our part for a healthier, safer community! 🌱💙

🎨✨ Color Us Inspired! ✨🎨
Our awesome residents showed off their inner artists during a coloring session. With every stroke of the crayon and colored pencil swipe, blank pages became a beautiful work of art. Who knew coloring could spark laughter and "remember when" moments?
These little things remind us how powerful creativity is at any age. They give us a glimpse of their beautiful spirits and the incredible lives they’ve lived. Our residents are proving it’s never too late to pick up a new hobby, make a new friend, or enjoy the moment.
I enjoy hanging out with my residents and listening to their beautiful and, at times, hilarious stories. They inspire us to find beauty in the simple things.

Anna often dreamed of returning to her homeland of Germany. The Good Tree team saw how deeply she was connected to her German roots, so they decided to bring a piece of Germany to her. They prepared goulash and other traditional German dishes, creating a festive atmosphere filled with warmth and nostalgia. Residents and staff gathered to celebrate Anna’s heritage, sharing stories and learning more about German customs.

With barbeques, music, memory walks, and vibrant purple celebrations, every moment paid tribute to those impacted by Alzheimer’s and highlighted the strength of human connection.

Autumn Glen celebrated the 70th wedding anniversary of Bill and Mary Lou this week. Surrounded by friends and family, the couple reflected on decades of memories through cherished photos and enjoyed a celebratory cake and a beautiful flower arrangement to honor the occasion. It was a big week for Billy, a resident of The Waterford at Mesquite. In honor of Father’s Day, the local mayor visited the community to recognize Billy as the oldest father living in Mesquite! Just a few days later, Billy celebrated his 100th birthday surrounded by family and friends. The celebration was filled with laughter and plenty of birthday cake. Billy’s milestone serves as an inspiration to everyone in the community.

John, a Magnolia Trails resident at Georgetowne Place, grew up on a farm and spent his childhood driving tractors and milking cows. He often shared these fond memories, so the team knew exactly what would make the perfect Tree of Dreams by bringing him back to the farm! With his daughter and great-grandson in tow, John was thrilled to see how things have changed and deeply grateful for the experience. Great job, team!

The Waterford at Round Rock worked with resident Becky’s daughter to give her the surprise of a lifetime by restoring their family car, a 1965 Ford Mustang. Filled with memories of family vacations and drives with her late husband, Becky’s eyes filled with tears. The moment she saw the fully restored Mustang, she was overcome with emotion and gratitude. What a beautiful gift and a reminder of cherished memories!
