: The National Weather Service issued a Freeze Warning for the City of Corpus Christi from 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM Saturday. Lows are expected to drop to freezing or near freezing.

With the Freeze Warning and continued cold/rain over the past week, the City will open and operate with City and partner teammates an overnight shelter tonight at the City Natatorium Gymnasium. The overnight shelter will be open from tonight at 6 PM through tomorrow morning at 9 AM

RTA will provide free transportation to and from the overnight shelter.
