Please help us welcome Kimberly Vela, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC to the Sunnyside Pediatrics family! 💙👩‍⚕️
Kimberly graduated with her Associates of Applied Science in Registered Nursing from Del Mar College in 2018. Her nursing background includes Home and Community Based Nursing for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, as well as Adult MedSurg Neurology. After serving as an RN for 6 years, she earned her MSN-FNP degree in 2025.
Kimberly and her husband, Mathew, share two beautiful children who she says are the foundation of her success. Family is very important to her, and she credits their love and support for helping make her journey possible.
She is excited to be a part of Sunnyside Pediatrics and looks forward to providing compassionate care to all of our patients and families. Please join us in giving Kimberly a warm welcome! ✨
